Climate statement
Cwmni Theatr Arad Goch is committed to tackling the climate emergency and adopting a greener working practice. We know that we have a way to go yet but, wherever possible, we have tried to use sustainable and recycled/recyclable materials in producing this festival. We are aware that by programming acts which must fly to take part is somewhat contradictory. Having said this, we believe that international friendship and collaboration are important and can be a catalyst for positive and lasting change. For every five international visitors to the festival, we will plant a tree at a local school, which will not only help with carbon offsetting, but will involve young people in the cause. We hope one day that a statement like this will not be necessary, but for now, let’s try and work together for the good of all our futures.
